Logo design

The one thing that’s a must have to any business. It's the icon of who you are and what you do. It communicates your nature, your style, and your ability. It's says everything about you in one glance.
Get this wrong and a potential customer may not go any further. They may not view your literature, website, advertising content etc however good.
It’s all about matching your logo as closely as possible to what you do. For example if you are a 5 star contempory hotel, you want a logo that says quality, yet not stuffy, you want a logo that communicates modern style and luxury. What you don’t want is one that is amateur, one that is too modern or impersonal to your particular characteristics. Attracting the target audience and communicating with them on an honest level is essential.
A logo can often be referred to as a brand, but the brand is as much reliant upon the qualities of the logo as it is the service or products that it represents.
Nevertheless the importance of the right logo is paramount.
Whether we are creating a new logo from scratch or developing an existing one we ensure that all aspects are considered. We always produce four or more concepts and present these not in their entirety but also demonstrate them on letterheads, fax headers, uniforms, signage etc depending upon what applications are relevant. That way a client can make an informed decision when giving feedback to us and be sure they know how each concept looks.
Once a logo is designed and development we can transfer it to the following immediate formats:
  • Letterheads
  • Compliment slips
  • Business cards
  • Fax headers
  • Memos
  • Invoices
  • E-mail templates
In addition we can create an identity manual to ensure consistency is followed. For instance if a logo is supplied to an external supplier an identity manual will provide a set of guidelines for reproduction such as minimum size, colour and typefaces etc to ensure the logo is reproduced correctly. Other items covered range from overall house style in terms of design and copywriting to stationery templates, literature covers, signage and recruitment advertising etc.
We handle the whole process from concept through to print involving all the disciplines necessary such as design, copywriting, photography, illustration and printing together with signage, vehicle liveries, exhibition displays, uniforms etc.
Examples of logos we have created can be found in the ‘showcase’ section of this website such as Logo design: Heald Solicitors, Logo design: Beebys, Logo design: MG Training, and Dragon Boat Race.
